Thanks for sharing. Your experience evoked deep sadness in me. Not all lesbians are cis women. So many trans, gender fluid, and nonbinary people with various types of sexuality and genitalia identify as such. "Heteronormativity" is painful.

Good point, and I'm only coming from the cis woman perspective here. I wanted to nod towards the fact that intimacy and sex is very different to everyone, depending on your desires/ your body/ your identity. Cookie-cutter-ing your sexual experience onto someone else because you think they sleep with the same 'type' of body is ignorant (let alone disrespectful and homophobic). Reading my own comment today brought up some anger toward "normativity" as a general principle that organizes our bodies and identities into consumable categories.
